  i was just reading some of the topics in the forum and i was just pondering on how many lies and devious half truths the wts.

  Why No Education for Jehovah's Witnesses

  there are actually two reasons for this.

  the first is that education takes time away from the ministry.

  if they take time to go to college, that is time that can't be used to go in the ministry, and "lives are at stake".

  Ignorance is power for the WTS., the more slaves the master can gain, the bigger and better his kingdom will be, so it's better to seek more slaves for the master

  Giving some contemplative thought, lets see how many we can come up with,........ but perhaps keep it brief for there may be very many

  I'll start off with number 1 = the biggest and most ominous of lies to me would probably be " We are god's only visible force on earth, spiritually guided by him for his will and purpose "

  There are no other organizations on earth in particular that has this privilege or power, all other organizations are guided by Satan and his wicked evil forces !

  Thats not a bad start....I'll hand it off to you folks, so lets see what kind of list we can come up with.

  This might be a very good post for people that come to this site, the many lurkers for example that read this froum,..... including jws.

  A little objectionable truth telling can never hurt anyone, but lies certainly may.

  What allows JWs to use Jehovah (YHWY)

  i remember from past college courses that in the old testament the isrealites were not allowed to say god's name yhwy because it was too sacred, so they could only write it; therefore, they used el when saying god's name....correct?.....the jws seem to claim that they are the only religion to know god's name, but where do they get the right to say jehovah.

  are there any scriptures that would confirm the change from only writing god's name to saying it?

  i was just wondering about this questions because the jws have an answer for everthing....maybe i should ask one.

  1. whenever we did the kingdom hall cleaning and would wear casual clothes, we weren't allowed to wear any shirt/sweatshirt/top w/ a logo on it!!!

  (and not obvious stuff like "camel cigs" or "budweiser"), but stuff like "reebok" "quiksilver" etc etc etc.

  (omg) (hey, on the way out, you reminded me of this in another post!!).

  Here's an obvious one, during the watchtower and book study there are no individual open discussion or analysis of the written information

  it's forbidden to ask any questions that are not provided by the WTS....ecentally mind controlling the readers with their deceitful BS

  Been "worldly" for 4 months now

  well, i left around january or february, and it's been about 3 months or so experiencing "worldly" living.

  i gotta say...it's been an interesting and uncomfortable transition, to say the least.

  i would just like to update everyone on how i'm doing, and share some of my worldly experiences, as well.

  Send them this...........No thank you, do to my honesty and personal integrity I rather not serve and support a obviously corrupt and hypocritical corporation as the WTS.

  I've born witness to the personal damage it causes individuals and testified to the false prophesying business for what it is structured on. Now that I'm free of it's

  manipulative slavery I can say with certainty I will never again be a slave to such blatant corruption. I've cast down the disgusting thing, so now my mind is clear,

  my soul is full of purity and honesty, ......... my heart is happy again !

  The truth has set me free.......won't you please give the truth a chance it might help you too ?
